Children’s Ministry

Kids are an important part of the congregation at KUCC, so we make sure there are plenty of meaningful activities to engage them. After spending the first part of worship in the main sanctuary with the rest of us, Children’s Minister Kathy Carter invites the little ones forward for a little teaching, sharing and creating. Then they’re invited to go next door to the sanctuary for special time together in a safe and nurturing environment.

KUCC provides a nursery for safe and loving childcare for infants and toddlers, while ages 3 through third grade spend time with Miss Kathy and volunteers in a multi-age classroom. Here, they enjoy variety of crafts, songs, dances and stories that focus on working together and exploring God’s love for all. Sometimes we even incorporate their work into the main church service through special music or skits.
