Advent Worship (Hybrid Worship)Sundays, November 28th & December 5th, 12th& 19th @ 5pm -December 5th worship *MIGHT* be Outside/Hybrid. Our KUCC Children’s Pageant will be on the 19th
Dr. Marcia McFee, worship consultant, has created this year’s Advent theme, “The Inn-Housing the Holy.” We’re excited to share in this thoughtful adventure, preparing for the Holy to be born, curious about the ways our facility and our community might offer respite and sustenance, partnering in creativity and care with those seeking shelter, opening our doors wide to those searching for space. Throughout the 4 Sundays of Advent, we will dream about “Making Room,” find ways to make sure that everyone has a “Place at the Table,” ask the question, “How much is Enough?” and continue to see that there is a “Room with a View.” On Christmas Eve, we will be making a home in the “Inn” to house the Holy, with Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. “May God’s Door of Welcome swing open in your heart and in your life. May Christ’s humble first dwelling remind you of the plenty you already know. And may the Spirit lead you into more possibility and hospitality that you can imagine, making room in The Inn for all. May it be so for you. May it be so for us.” |
Hybrid Longest Night ServiceThis worship time together leads with song and scripture into the Story that holds us together. On the longest night of the year--when it might not feel like or seem like the "most wonderful time of the year," we'll gather to wait and watch for the LIGHT that is drawing near and nearer. We'll gather on zoom and in person on December 20th at 7pm.
