Rev. Susannah Davis, Senior Minister of the Kirkwood United Church of Christ, will be featured on, a nationally syndicated radio broadcast heard on more than 200 radio stations in the USA.

“I am honored to have the chance to be a part of this broadcast. It comes at a very important time in the life of our church, Kirkwood United Church of Christ” said Rev. Davis.

“I remember growing up in Warrenton, Georgia, and tuning in to some amazing preachers on Day1. I have been listening all my life. I am so excited to have a place alongside some of the same preachers that influenced me over the years.”

Rev. Davis continued, “Being able to tell our KUCC story comes as we are celebrating the opening of our first permanent home on Rogers St, in Atlanta’s Kirkwood community.  It’s a chance to let the nation here our message; that we welcome ‘Everyone, Everyone, Everyone’ in our church community. I think this is an important message for the church—well, honestly, I think it’s an important message for the country, too!”

The message “To weed or not to weed” will focus on Matthew 13. Rev. Davis, “We’ve all got weeds in us, and thankfully we have some wheat in us too, all intertwined and growing together, connected to one another, in the soil of God’s heart and love, in this world where, for now, we are planted.”

Local, National and International Broadcast Times

Rev. Davis’ sermon will air Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Atlanta at 7:05 a.m. on News 95.5 and AM 750 WSB radio, in Atlanta. For a complete list of affiliate stations across the country and broadcast times, visit
