Homeless Man Being Handed Bowl Of Soup By VolunteerOn the last two Saturdays of the month, we set a table for the poor and the hungry in our community. We offer more than just a meal, warm clothes and toiletry supplies… we also offer love, respect, hospitality and friendship.

When our Soup Saturday ministry began in 2010 there was a very present need in Kirkwood to be alongside folks who were hungry and existing with very little support and money. While much has changed in this neighborhood – even in the past few years with new construction where dilapidated apartments once were and people moving in every week – hungry folks still remain in need of food and fellowship.

When you bring food for the food pantry as part of Community Table, hungry people are being fed. When you bring clothes for our clothes closet, people without a whole lot are being clothed. When you share friendship around the table at Soup Saturday, ALL lives are being made richer!
