​Our worship services are all about community, love and praise. We praise God through communal prayer, music, confession, preaching, sharing and Holy Communion. Our worship aims to be transformative in many ways, offering us opportunities to seek comfort and hope, to find our stories in the stories of our faith, and to experience the presence of God.
  • Where & When: We worship at 5PM every Sunday afternoon at 100 Rogers Street NE in Atlanta’s historic Kirkwood neighborhood. Click here for a map and driving directions.
  • Parking: Ample free parking is available in the parking lot of Toomer Elementary, just a half-block away. Please save the limited onsite parking for visitors, those who may have issues with mobility, and families with small children.
  • What to Expect: We’ve compiled some Frequently Asked Questions about worship at Kirkwood United Church of Christ.
  • Music: We have a wide variety of musical styles, including traditional hymns, contemporary Christian music, bluegrass, rock, folk, country and more!
  • Assistance for the Hearing Impaired: For those who are hearing impaired, assisted listening devices are available from the sound booth.
  • Childcare: Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers immediately adjacent to the sanctuary.
  • Communion: Our communion is open to all. 
  • Baptism: Baptism is available to children and adults who wish to be baptized. 
  • COVID Precautions: Masks are optional in service.  A mask only section of the sanctuary is marked for those who need it.  All of our services are Hybrid with the ability to join us on Zoom and FacebookLive.

Join us for midweek Early Morning Worship every Wednesday from 7:30-8:00 a.m.onsite in the the ChurchHouse and over the phone.  To join the call dial 646-558-8656, ID: 531-9329125#
We have a brief lectionary Bible study, meditation, Holy Communion and plenty of coffee!

LOCATION: We are centrally located in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta, only four miles from Downtown Atlanta. Use the map below to get driving directions from your location.

PARKING: For Sunday worship and larger events, abundant parking is available one-half block down the street at the Pullman Staff Lot. Please allow those with mobility issues and families with small children the opportunity to park in the lot at 100 Rogers Street. Signs will direct you to worship. For meetings and small group gatherings, parking is available at the Church House. Overflow is available at the Pullman Staff lot.
