Worship life at KUCC is a communal offering to God through our prayers, music, confession, preaching, storytelling and sharing in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Our worship seeks to be intentional, inclusive and transformational as we proclaim the Good News of God in Christ, in a variety of meaningful ways.

This ministry helps to ensure an accessible and creative worship experience at KUCC. Several people are being equipped and trained to provide a knowledgeable response for any of our AV needs in our new sanctuary.

Hospitality Ministry: Donna Mayer-Todd

​Our Hospitality Ministry provides a vital ministry of welcome and response for those who are visiting KUCC for the first time and to those who attend KUCC regularly.

Music Ministry: David Robert King

Worship music at KUCC takes a variety of forms including traditional, “rock star”, folk, ancient, and contemporary types of worship. We hope to reach a variety of people with a diversity of music selections for the congregation and for our musical offerings. Our musicians are incredibly talented volunteers who give their time and talent to make beautiful music at KUCC to lead the congregation and provide our crowd background for their glorious singing. We have a seasonal choir and occasional ensembles, and we are always working on ways to involve more folks in our music ministry.

​ The worship planning team is made up of our KUCC staff members that participate and lead weekly worship, along with members of the congregation who are enthusiastic about planning, preparing and leading worship. Our vision for worship is to share God’s love through the Good News of Jesus--helping people grow closer to God, to have an impact in people’s lives and relationships, and to bring genuine emotion into our worship life. The worship team meets monthly to provide support, to joyfully brainstorm and to give meaningful and moving feedback for our weekly worship together at KUCC.
